Using ScreenApp direct WEB access is the fastest and most accommodating of available alternative

  • Easy... point and click...search selection.
  • Prompts make the entry of only the necessary information about the applicant easy.
  • Packages contain preset Reports and can only be created or modified by First Advantage. Packages will only appear on the Order Builder page per your Company contract/request.
  • Standard Orders are individual orders that you wish to save and reuse because your company repetitively requests them. They are specific to your company needs. This feature can save you valuable time by minimizing input and processing time. (The ability to create, modify and delete Standard Orders requires permission activation at company setup.) Standard orders must be named to be saved and displayed in the Standard Orders Section for future use. 
  • Permanently archives everything or option to delete reports. This may be a paperless operation. This saves you time spent filing records while reducing risk of exposing private information..
  • Client Support available from 8 AM through 8 PM, Eastern Time, Monday through Friday except holidays at no charge.
  • Several searches will produce reports 24X7 within 30 minutes following entry. 

Disadvantags:  Inactivity for 20 minutes will cause the program to time out.  Therefore, ScreenApp(tm) direct web access is not recommended for end-users who are frequently interrupted by other tasks or absences from their PCs while in the process of ordering  searches.

 What background checking service type is best for you? 

There are several ways to do it.  Which way is best for you?

Think about the answers to  the following questions in regard to your organization and  you will be able to choose  the best and most economical service to meet your needs. 

A.  You want to use the fax form as an application for employment to avoid redundancy and do not mind that the fax form requires a longer turnaround time before you receive a report back.  You take our Fax Order Form and adapt it for this purpose by adding your logo and questions that you need answered to it.  If this is the type of service you want, you may select either statement 1 or 2 below.. 

B.  Do you plan to do background checks on more than 12 people a year?  If the answer is "no", you can skip to number 2 below: "Out Of The Loop" service by FactsFinder.  You will receive reports by telephone, e-mail, US mail or fax.  We do all of the work. 

C.  You have as much work as you can handle and are frequently traveling without a laptop computer.  You hire more than    You want to be able to simply hand the applicant a form to complete, check off the searches that you want, and fax the forms to someone who will complete the searches and fax the reports back to you as soon as  they are completed.  Consider statements 1 or 2 below.

D.  You work in a position where you are frequently interrupted by telephone calls or "drop in" people.  You need a type of service that will allow you to enter partial data, direct your attention to another task or person, come back to enter more into the background checking tool, and keep this up until you are ready to send by modem (either telephone or Internet).  You should consider #3 statement below.

E.  You work in a relatively quiet work area but company policy prohibits access to the WEB.  Statement #3 below is for you. 

F.  You work in a relatively quiet work area with few interruptions and have access to the WEB.  Statement #4 below is for you.

G.  You are a recruiter and work away from your office often.  Sometimes you are at job fairs or at placement offices.  You need to do fast SSN and criminal background checks before setting up your "second interview".  Statement #4 is for you.

H.  You need to batch hundreds of MVR, OFAC, NationScan or other types of searches.  Call us.  We have high volume low cost rates. 

 

  1. You prefer handing the applicant a fax form to complete. - You fax a form to us signed by the subject with the searches that you want to be performed simply checked.
  2. FactsFinder's Out of the Loop Service (You hand our form to the subject along with a stamped, addressed envelope and are outside the "loop".  We do the rest and report back to you by telephone, e-mail, or fax.)
  3. You prefer HireCheck software and modem or internet.  This is best where there are many interruptions or no web access...or...you frequently need reports that are marked "No" for the Web tool shown below.
  4. You prefer direct Web access. Fastest and easiest on average.  Any reports not offered (see the "No" remarks  below) can be obtained via fax.

Request Pricing Information   During 2005, there were over 100 county, state and federal public records access fee price changes.  Some prices were decreased; most were increased.  Some were completely reconfigured such as New York counties merged to form a statewide criminal records check.  Consequently, we provide you with current prices to the best of our ability upon your request.  We still claim that prices are subject to change without notice because we have no control over what the nearly 4,000 domestic government agencies and many agencies in nearly 70 foreign countries that we deal with will change regarding  their pricing, availability and turnaround times.
