Prohibited Parties Database Search
In response to many customer requests for a report provided by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), HireCheck has added the Prohibited Parties Database search to our offering. This new search not only includes the requested OFAC data, but also three additional government databases, all of which provide the following data:

Debarred Parties
-
Denied Persons List
-
Entity List
-
Specially Designated Nationals, Terrorists, Narcotics Traffickers, Blocked Persons and Vessels (OFAC)
The search is provided by the United States Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security.
The Prohibited Parties Search will include the following information if a match is found within one of the four databases:

Parties denied export privileges under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as administered by the Office of Defense Trade Control
(DTC)

Parties denied export privileges as administered by the Bureau of Industry and Security
-
Entities subject to license requirements because of their proliferation of weapons of mass destruction
-
Parties subject to various economic sanctioned programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control, such as specially designated nationals, terrorists, narcotics traffickers and blocked persons and vessels
The Prohibited Parties Database Search requires your customer to provide the name, date of birth, sex, and race of their applicant.
